Myconet: The Mycelium Solution – Mushrooms, Sustainability & Community
Discover the powerful world of fungi in this hands-on, community-focused workshop designed to inspire healthier living and sustainable innovation. Myconet is bringing together everything you need to know about growing gourmet mushrooms, reducing waste, and exploring the future potential of mycelium.
Participants will learn how to grow delicious and nutritious mushrooms such as Oyster, Lion’s Mane, Reishi, and Turkey Tail using sustainable waste products, helping reduce food bills while improving household health. Beyond the kitchen, the workshops will explore how fungi support ecosystems, contribute to waste reduction, and are shaping emerging innovations — from sustainable materials to environmental remediation and microplastic alternatives.
Whether you’re a home gardener, sustainability enthusiast, student, or simply curious about mushrooms, this workshop offers practical skills, inspiring ideas, and real-world applications. Attendees will leave with the confidence to grow at home, a deeper understanding of fungi’s environmental role, and insight into how mushrooms are transforming industries worldwide.
Join us and be part of a growing movement toward sustainable food, resilient communities, and fungi-powered solutions for the future.
All participants receive a 'grow your own mushrooms kit'.
